Joanne Giannino Joanne Giannino is a Unitarian Universalist minister. She has served as Minister to the Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Flagstaff, Arizona; First Parish Malden, Massachusetts; King's Chapel in Boston; and at the First Universalist Society in Franklin, Massachusetts. Joanne wrote the DUUB biography of Viola Liuzzo while she was studying for the ministry at Andover-Newton Theological School. Before becoming a religious professional, Joanne had a career as an expressive arts therapist at a community mental health center, was an adjunct faculty member at Lesley College Graduate School, and served as the managing editor for a chain of weekly newspapers. Joanne and her husband have two young adult sons.
