Joanne Giannino

Joanne Giannino Joanne Giannino was born on May 19, 1963 in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned a BFA at the California Institute of the Arts with a focus on writing and performance art before combining her commitment to the arts with psychology and earning a Masters degree in Expressive Therapies from Lesley College Graduate School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She practiced psychotherapy at a community mental health center for several years before finding Unitarian Universalism. At her home church she soon became Director of Religious Education. While serving First Parish Unitarian Universalist Bridgewater she authored Meetings at the Moon: a six session spiritual journey for pre-teen girls and their mothers, became a LREDA Good Offices Representative and a continental Youth Adult Spirituality trainer. She is currently a student at Andover Newton Theological School and a candidate for the UU ministry. She lives in Bridgewater with her husband and two sons.
