Stuart Twite Stuart Twite is the Director of Religious Education at First Parish Church, Unitarian in Norwell, Massachusetts. He was born and raised in South Dakota where he received B.S. and M.Ed. Degrees in education. For a time he worked in politics on the state and national levels, both in campaigns and as a staffer. He then taught history in public and private schools in Arizona and South Dakota. For the past six years he has been a stay-at-home father for his three children. Five of those years were spent in New York where he worked as a freelance editor, was a Sunday School Superintendent, and served on the local Library Board of Trustees. His love of Unitarian Universalist history began in college and he has been a student of the tradition ever since.
